ZZ plant
The ZZ plant (Zamioculcas Zamiifoila) do best in moderate indirect light but do well in lower north facing light.
ZZ plants although not cactus behave like a cactus in that they want to be left alone and not fussed with. Due to waxy nature of their leaves and their rhizomes that hold water these plants need very little water. Water this plant only when soil is completely dry. This plant can actually survive months without water. A great plant for those who travel.
It is a truly sculptural plant that is slow growing with very little care for the statement it makes.
