Q, What information do you need?
The Floral courier requires we provide the following information :

Name of Recipient,

Full address including suite number (if applicable) and postal code.

Local contact number for the recipient.  

For office/ business deliveries we must have the direct contact information for the recipient and reception .

 If no local contact number is provided the order may be undeliverable if the courier finds no one to accept the order or it will be  left at the recipients door if a house and the left at door policy will apply .

 

Q: Do you deliver to businesses or residences?

We deliver to both. To houses orders are left at the front door. Residences in buildings must have a concierge/ security who accept deliveries or the sender must ensure someone will be home during the delivery window to meet the courier in the lobby.   We do not deliver to hospitals, malls. Deliveries to work spaces/ offices will be to reception or mail rooms. For both residential buildings and businesses the courier must abide by the building policy   

All of our deliveries to businesses are made in the afternoon generally between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. If a business closes at 5:00 pm please advise us so that we may advise the courier. Residential deliveries are generally between 2:00 and 6:45 pm (with the exception of holidays such as Mother's Day/ Valentines' where deliveries are conducted throughout the day from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm). The floral courier service operates within a delivery-window and therefore we cannot provide a specific time or an accurate idea of when the deliveries will arrive.  Delivery times are also being affected by volume of deliveries each day, weather , traffic etc. These times are approximate. 

 

Q. What happens in bad weather?

If a weather advisory has been issued and the road conditions are deemed unsafe for the drivers the courier service will halt deliveries for the day and commence when conditions are safe the following day.  In the event that the service is halted orders will be postponed and sent out the next day it is safe to.

 

Q: When do you deliver?

We delivery Monday through Saturday (and Sundays for Mother's Day) with the exception of holidays/ long weekends. These days will be posted on our order page.  Deliveries are conducted in the afternoon with delivery times are determined by the floral courier service.  (with the exception of high volume holidays such as Valentines or Mother's day wee where delivery will be throughout the entire day). 

 

Q: Will you call the recipient to arrange for a delivery date or time?

We require that the sender chooses the delivery date for their recipient and has already determined the recipient will be in town and available to receive a delivery or that the business location is open. In the winter we offer the option for the studio to call and work out a delivery day with the recipient where they will be home (for houses only) between 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm so that flowers and or plants are not left outside. Same day delivery is not available for this option. 

 

Q. What happens if the wrong address is provided or a person / business has moved?

It is the client's responsibility to ensure all the proper information provided is correct and current. In the event an order is undeliverable due to incorrect information  there is no refund for undeliverable orders.

 

Q: Can I place an order for pick up instead?

Yes, orders for  pickup Tuesday to Friday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm are accepted and Saturday between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Please see our order page for details
